Dr. Doerner’s Philosophy of Care
I believe in the partnership between patient and physician, and especially enjoy the long-term partnership I have been able to create with patients and their families. I enjoy the practice of Internal Medicine as it allows me to provide comprehensive adult care and see a wide range of medical issues.
In my free time, I enjoy the wonderful hiking available in the area, working in the garden and learning to grill.
At Sky River Medical Group, I provide all aspects of adult medicine; including acute issues, chronic conditions such as heart failure, diabetes and high blood pressure and preventative health care.
In addition, there is specialty care close by for any issues that need further specialized attention.

Dr. Okemah’s Philosophy of Care
Education and preventive health care are very important to me as a doctor. One of my goals is to form good, trusting, respectful relationships with my patients, so I can assist my patients in making informed decisions about their health care.
I came to Monroe because it is clear that Valley General Hospital is providing for East Snohomish County a community of health care. A doctor couldn’t ask for a better environment to practice medicine.
I grew up in Puyallup and attended Washington State University for my undergraduate education. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, cycling and running with my wife and two sons.

Dr. Hudson's Philosophy of Care
I believe that one of the primary physician’s roles is to provide guidance and information to enable patients to make the best choices for themselves regarding their health. I believe that despite how specialized and advanced the health system may become, it still remains important to step back and see patients as individuals and not as a set of numbers or a list of symptoms.
