VGH: Improving Emergency Care

Emergency Department Remodel
As your community hospital, we listened to your concerns about quality emergency care. In conjunction with process improvements, quality initiatives and improved customer services, VGH has committed $1.7 million to remodel the Emergency Department.

VGH is working to improve your care and your experience in the emergency department, and we are here every minute of every day to care for you when you need it most.

The 9.5 month Emergency Department remodel will:

1. enhance patient care by improving efficiencies, productivity, security, patient flow and ease of access to ancillary services,
2. enhance patient experience by reducing wait times, and improving patient flow and facility aesthetics, and
3. improve patient privacy and customer service.
