VGH Welcomes New Hand Specialist
Hospital Expands Outpatient Physical Therapy Services

Monroe, WA –Valley General Hospital welcomes Mitch Suzawa, an occupational therapist who specializes in hand therapy, to its growing outpatient sports and physical therapy clinic in October.

“Mr. Suzawa has two decades of experience in hand therapy,” states Jeanne Ryan, Manager, VGH Sports and Physical Therapy. “We are very excited to have such a specialized and clinically credential hand therapist on staff. It greatly enhances our goal in providing East Snohomish County with a comprehensive rehab program.”

Mr. Suzawa graduated from University of Puget Sound and has been a certified in Hand Therapy since 1991. He is also certified in Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM). He has been practicing in the East Snohomish County medical community for the past 12 years.
