Monroe, WA –On Saturday, September 10, during the early hours of the morning, Valley General Hospital staff prepared and served breakfast for its residential neighbors in front of the new Sky River Medical Center on the campus of Valley General Hospital. The motivation behind the breakfast was to say “thank you” to those individuals and households that were affected by the construction of the new building. Their understanding, cooperation and support during construction was appreciated.

The forecast did not look good at 6 a.m. on Saturday, as the tent was being assembled and as the rain came pouring down. But as if it had been planned to be so, when the event started at 8:30 a.m. the rain let up, and a pleasant time was had by all.

Tours of the new medical facility were also given to those neighbors who had not yet been inside to view the new and expanded medical services in the community.

The Sky River Medical Center is located at 14841 179th Ave. SE, Monroe. For more information, please call 360-794-1411.
