Monroe, WA – Valley General Hospital promotes a Philosophy of Care that is a commitment to Health and Healing. Health and Healing calls Valley General Hospital to provide high quality care for the patient as an individual in body, mind and spirit. Valley General Hospital will now offer a community education workshop, taught by a registered hypnotherapist and counselor, that promotes this similar idea. The workshop is entitled Mediation Made Easier.

In this workshop participants will learn to use the seven major energy centers in the human body as stepping stones to a place of deep inner meditative relaxation. The technique is easy to learn and thus use regularly to begin to create insightful calmness in your life.

The material covered will include how to focus breath with intent, relaxation versus rest, and creating a personal sanctuary. Additionally, participants will have an opportunity to understand and address old guilt messages about how a person should meditate and how often to, transforming them into more positive life attitudes.

This Valley General Hospital class will be held on Thursday, May 25 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Snohomish County Boys and Girls Club at 402 2nd Street, Snohomish, 98290 or on Thursday, June 29 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Valley General Hospital at 14701 179th Ave. SE, Monroe, 98272. The class fee is $30.00 and pre-registration is required. To register, please call 360-794-1411 or visit our Web site at www.valleygeneral.org. No previous experience with any kind of mediation is required.
