Monroe, WARemembering what matters most… When a family delivers at Valley General Hospital they should expect excellence in patient care in a loving and quality health care environment. They should also expect the hospital to have the most state-of-the-art equipment to benefit mother and baby.

The Valley General Hospital Foundation is launching a capital campaign to fund new Birth Center equipment. The new mother/fetal monitoring equipment will be an upgrade from the equipment that is currently being used.

“Our new babies are the hospital’s most precious patients,” states Jenine Lantz, Birth Center manager. “This new technology is more superior and allows for more sensitive monitoring.”

The campaign goal is $64,000 and will replace four monitors that offer the newest generation of equipment and allows for comprehensive monitoring throughout labor, delivery and recovery.

“Our new maternal/fetal monitoring system will allow us to continue to deliver the high standard of care our patients expect from us,” states Richard M. Rybarczyk, MD of Monroe Women’s Care. “These monitors are the same ones available in hospitals much lager than ours. We appreciate the ability to work with this new technology.”
