VGH Hosts Community Health Fair

Monroe, WA – Start the New Year off on a healthy foot. Valley General Hospital’s annual health fair Walkin’ in the Rain is just around the corner. The health fair is on Saturday, February 10 from 9 a.m. – Noon. Screenings and booths will be set up in the hospital’s Main Lobby as well as in the Sky River Medical Center (medical office building in the hospital’s parking lot).
Free health screenings include: body measurements, osteoporosis screening, glaucoma screening, blood pressure, flexibility and body composition. Other items available that include a small fee are: lipid panel profile including glucose ($25 – requires 14 hour fast), TSH ($15 – thyroid stimulating hormone) and PSA ($15 – prostate specific antigen). Also take a break and receive a 15 minute massage for just $10.
Participate in a 2 mile walk and get your heart rate checked. Purchase a pedometer to track your progress. Door prizes will also be given away.
