VGH Hosts Community Health Fair

Monroe, WA – Start the New Year off on a healthy foot. Valley General Hospital’s annual health fair Walkin’ in the Rain is just around the corner. The health fair is on Saturday, January 21 from 9 a.m. – Noon. Screenings and booths will be set up in the hospital’s Main Lobby as well as in VGH Sports and Physical Therapy in the Sky River Medical Center.
Free health screenings include: body measurements, osteoporosis screening, blood pressure and body composition. Other screenings that include a small fee are: lipid panel profile including glucose ($25 – requires 14 hour fast), TSH ($15 – thyroid stimulating hormone) and PSA ($15 – prostate specific antigen).
Participate in a 2 mile walk and get your heart rate checked. Purchase a pedometer to track your progress. Receive a free water bottle while supplies last. Other health education booths will be available. Valley General Hospital is located at 14701 179th Ave. SE, Monroe. No pre-registration is required.
