Dr. Raney believes in being approachable. He tries to put his patients at ease, whether he is "playing" his way through an ear exam with a frightened child, listening carefully and patiently for the unasked but important questions, or making sure that useful education and appropriate choices are provided. He believes that the best care occurs only when significant effort is made by the both physician and patient. Dr. Raney is married and has two daughters. He and his family live on a horse farm in rural Sultan. He enjoys his children’s activities, traditional Irish music, soccer, and Belgian Draft and American Saddlebred horses.
