Mike Liepman, CEO
Mike Liepman became the Chief Executive Officer at Valley General Hospital in December 2009. Mike holds a Masters in Health Science from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington, and has been in leadership positions in health care for more than 25 years. Mike recently served as Vice President of Guest Services and Facilities of Franciscan Health System in Tacoma, Washington from 2006 – 2009. He spent the majority of his career in Eastern Washington holding leadership positions at Empire Health Services, including Chief Operating Officer of this system from 2002 – 2004. Mike and his wife were both raised in the Puget Sound area and attended college in Eastern Washington. They raised their now three-grown children in the Spokane area, knowing they would ultimately like to transition over to Western Washington again.
