Valley General Continues Full Accreditation

The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) establishes national standards for hospitals and monitors their progress. Valley General has been affiliated with JCAHO since 1967.

We view our participation in this demanding review process as part of our unwavering commitment to the highest standards in patient care.

Valley General Hospital is fully accredited through the Washington State Department of Health. This is not an accreditation. It is a license.

We also have a Quality Resources Department to ensure a safe environment for all our patients.

Valley General's JCAHO accreditation is valid through 2010. This accreditation means that all employees, patients, family members, and visitors have the right to report concerns about patient safety or the quality of care directly to JCAHO.
